Connecting OKX

Finandy service enables trading on through a free API key. To connect to trading via API on the OKX exchange partner, follow these steps:

  1. Register on OKX

  2. Deposit funds into your exchange account

  3. Navigate to Futures using the , click "Update to trade," and in the opened window, press the "Switch" button (as shown in the image below).

4. Log in to your Finandy account and select Account / API Keys

5. Click the "Connect OKX" button.

6. Fast API creation menu is displayed

7. After connecting, you will be redirected to the original Finandy service page, which will automatically display the API key created during connection.

Possible errors

Processing API key creationError: OKX API error: Fast API is allowed to create only one API KEY

This error indicates that you have previously connected to Finandy.You need to delete the API key in OKX and try again.To delete the API key in OKX you need to:

  1. Log in to your OKX Exchange account and select Account - API

  1. Delete all API keys by clicking the Delete button.

Delete an API key

To delete an exchange API key, go to Account / API Keys (1) in Finandy's website and click on Delete (2).

Warning! If you plan to delete the key on OKX, it is necessary to delete it on Finandy terminal as well.

What are the restrictions if there is a previously created account without reference code/with a different reference code in OKX exchange?

There are no restrictions or additional conditions for these accounts.

I use the OKX API for third party services and not just Finandy. Will the API conflict?

Yes, there can be conflicts. This type of activity is not regulated, so all risks are entirely at the user's own risk.

Can I trade on OKX / Binance / Finandy at the same time?

Yes, it is possible to trade on all three platforms.

Is it safe to connect the terminal to OKX exchange?

Upon connection, an API key is generated, which only has access to the IP of our servers.The procedure is the same as creating a key manually in OKX and adding it to our service.Finandy terminal stores the API key in encrypted form.
